Corrugation & Pasting Gums

Engineered adhesives that maximize Box Compression Test (BCT) values while ensuring warp-free, flat boards on high-speed lines.

Auto Plant Corrugation Gum (Hot)20-28% Solids

High-shear stable starch-based adhesive for automated corrugators running at high speeds. Achieves 'Green Bond' strength — the flute holds before the adhesive fully cures.

High-Speed Compatibility: Formulated for 150-200 m/min corrugators — does not thin under shear stress at the glue machine.
Green Bond: Immediate fiber-tear bond strength on the corrugator allows the board to be cut and stacked without delamination.
Warp Control: Balanced moisture profile on both sides of the board ensures flat, warp-free sheets — critical for automated box plants.
Manual Pasting Gum (Cold)Long Open Time

Cold-water soluble adhesive for manual corrugation and small-scale box plants. Formulated with extended open time, allowing workers to apply and position the liner before the bond sets.

Cold Water Soluble: No cooking required — dissolves instantly in cold water, reducing energy costs and setup time.
Extended Open Time: 5-8 minute working time allows manual positioning of medium and liner before pressing.
Strong Final Bond: Despite easy application, final bond strength achieves fiber-tear on all common liner and flute papers.
Flap Pasting AdhesiveInstant Set

High-solids, fast-setting adhesive for the final box assembly step — gluing the manufacturer's joint and folding flaps. Sets in 10-30 seconds for high-speed gluing machines.

10-30 Second Set Time: Critical for automated gluing lines — allows immediate stacking and palletizing without temporary holding.
Fiber-Tear Bond: The paper substrate will fail before the adhesive bond — exceeding all standard packaging strength tests.
Water-Based Safety: Non-toxic, toluene-free formulation — safe for food and pharmaceutical packaging applications.
Packaging printing and coating

Specialty Coatings & Inks

Functional performance beyond bonding — waterproofing, lamination, and vibrant flexographic printing.

Lamination AdhesivesWater-Based

Aqueous lamination adhesives for bonding paper, foil, and film layers together. Water-based formulation meets food safety standards and environmental regulations.

Food Safe: Water-based, toluene-free and solvent-free — compliant for indirect food contact packaging (biscuits, cereals, FMCG).
High Bond Strength: Excellent adhesion to paper, aluminum foil, BOPP, and PE films — withstands printing and converting operations.
Heat Resistance: Bonds remain intact during hot-fill applications and sterilization processes.
Paper Bag AdhesiveRapid Setting

High-speed adhesive for multi-wall paper bag manufacture — cement bags, flour sacks, and industrial packaging. Rapid setting allows high-speed bagmaking without manual hold.

High-Speed Bag Making: Sets in under 5 seconds on bag-making machines running at 60+ bags per minute.
Bottom and Valve Sealing: Formulated for both the bag bottom fold and valve patch bonding in open-mouth and valve bags.
Fill-Ready Strength: Bags can be filled immediately after manufacture without risk of seam failure.
Flexographic InksLow VOC

Water-based flexo inks for single and multi-color printing on corrugated boards and paper bags. High opacity with vibrant color reproduction and fast drying.

High Opacity: Full coverage on Kraft liner and recycled boards — bright, brand-consistent colors even on brown substrates.
Fast Drying: Air-drying in under 30 seconds on most substrates — suitable for inline printing on corrugators.
Rub Resistance: High abrasion resistance prevents ink transfer during stacking, transit, and handling.
Biodegradable packaging materials

Bio-Based & Sustainable Films

Meeting the plastic-free mandate with compostable starch films and bio-polymer compounds for cutlery and trays.

Biopolymer Starch CompoundASTM D6400

Thermoplastic starch (TPS) compound that processes on standard film extrusion and blow moulding equipment. Certified compostable to ASTM D6400 and EN 13432 standards.

Standard Equipment Compatible: Processes on existing LDPE/LLDPE blown film lines with minor temperature adjustments — no new capital investment.
Certified Compostable: Breaks down in industrial composting conditions within 90 days — meets EU and US plastic-free legislation.
Customizable Properties: Blend ratios can be adjusted for film gauge, clarity, and mechanical strength requirements.
Rigidity Enhancer for CutleryHeat Stable

Starch-based additive blended with PBAT or PLA to create rigid, heat-stable compounds for moulded cutlery, trays, and food service ware.

Heat Resistance: Maintains rigidity up to 80°C — suitable for hot food service applications (soup, rice, hot beverages).
Cost Reduction: Our bio-starch compound replaces 20-30% of expensive PLA content, reducing finished product cost significantly.
Biodegradable: Fully compostable in industrial composting — meets extended producer responsibility requirements.
Moisture Resistant Pasting PowderHumidity Shield

Modified starch-based coating powder that, when applied and dried, creates a hydrophobic barrier on the board surface — protecting against humidity weakening box strength.

BCT Protection: Boxes treated with moisture-resistant sizing retain 70-80% of their dry BCT even in high humidity (85% RH) conditions.
Export Applications: Critical for produce boxes, refrigerated transport boxes, and sea freight where moisture exposure is unavoidable.
Cost vs. Wax: Provides acceptable moisture resistance at significantly lower cost than wax coating and is recyclable.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions our clients ask most.

Q

What is the difference between hot and cold corrugation gum?

A

Hot gum (Auto Plant) is cooked and used on steam-heated corrugators for high-speed production — it bonds instantly on contact with the hot flute. Cold gum dissolves in cold water and is for manual or semi-automatic plants where no steam heating is available. Both achieve fiber-tear bond strength.

Q

Is your adhesive food safe for direct food contact packaging?

A

Our standard gums are food-safe for indirect contact (outer boxes, trays not touching food). For direct food contact applications (e.g., trays for fresh produce), we can supply specially formulated food-grade adhesives. Please specify your application.

Q

Can the biopolymer film replace standard LDPE bags entirely?

A

For single-use carry bags and shopping bags, yes — our bio-film can replace LDPE on the same equipment. For heavy-duty industrial sacks (cement, fertilizer), we recommend a hybrid approach. Our team will assess your specific application.

Q

What is the BCT improvement from using your corrugation gum versus standard gum?

A

Customers typically report 8-15% improvement in BCT when switching from generic gum to our high-solids formulation, primarily due to better glue line coverage and improved fiber penetration.
